Broad Run Cheese House

Located in Sugarcreek, Celebrating over 70 years of cheese making, the Broad Run Cheese House was established in 1933 by a group of local dairy farmers. Under the direction early cheese maker Ernest Muehler (pictured), Clem Muehler, John Goss, Carl Kinsey (all pictured below),  John Schindler and now John Fankhauser and Chad Schindler, Broad Run Swiss Cheese has earned countless awards for their exceptional quality. The latest award came in 2001 when Broad Run Swiss won the OHIO GRAND CHAMPION CHEESE in a year long competition.
